Elza Labuscagne

Elza was born and bred in Klerksdorp in the North West.  She graduated at the University of Free State as a Physiotherapist in 2002.

In 2003 she completed her Community Service Year at Delareyville Hospital and started practicing at De la Port and Hattingh Physiotherapists in 2004 until 2018. During this period, she attended several courses including Module 1 of Woman’s Health and OMT (Orthopaedic Manual Therapy) in 2013.

Elza joined the Family Medical Centre in 2019 and is looking forward to providing excellent physiotherapy service to the community of Cradock.  As an avid runner herself, she has a special interest in sport injuries.  She believes in treating patients and not diagnoses and follows a holistic approach that includes muscle activation, dry needling and exercise therapy.  She enjoys getting to know her patients and treats everybody with empathy and humor.

Family is an integral part of her life; she is happily married to Lappies and they have 3 boys, JC, Alexander and Scheepers.  In addition to running, she loves reading and spending family time.
